Civil liberties are being stripped under the guise of protecting us from terrorism.
America is saving the world though preemptive war.
Unemployment is high & permanent, and we continue to import goods manufactured in China.
Politicians do nothing to serve their constituents, they just bicker amongst each other and serve their campaign contributors – corporations.
We’re all living on a credit card; Our government, as well as its slaves.

What do we do about it? Tea Parties in Washington, DC are a great idea, but who the heck want to take time off from work and hang out with a bunch of angry white sore loser Republicans who hide under their Ku-Klux-Klan “Conservative” disguise? Besides, Tea Party people are not truly representative of America. In fact, their mainly perceived as radical right-wingers.

2009 was a relatively terrible year for Main Street America, and let’s face it; Main Street misery is directly attributed to the excesses of Wall Street;  thanks to them, foreclosures are the end result of bad loans to American families; packaged & pawned off to global investors. (AP) The New York City health department has released a nauseating video in an effort to prevent people from drinking sugary beverages. The video was posted Monday on YouTube (see video).

A man opens a soda can and pours the liquid into a glass. It’s actually a mess of goopy fat.

When he tries to drink it, he ends up with fat globs on his face.

The message: Drinking just one can of soda a day can add up to 10 pounds of weight in a year.

Health Commissioner Thomas Farley says sugary drinks are a large part of the obesity epidemic.

A 2007 health department survey found that more than 2 million New Yorkers drink at least one sugar-sweetened beverage each day.

Gillette, Nike, and Gatorade recently issue public remarks about their position on the Tiger Woods scandal. Peter Santilli addresses the absurdity of their evasive and exploitative campaigns, all in their attempt to win the hearts and minds of consumers.  Santilli praises Kelloggs for publicly indicating that they’re discontinuing their relationship with Tiger because he does not represent their values.

Consumers are advised to beware of multi-million dollar advertising campaigns designed to deceive consumers.  Americans know that almost every financial institution has directly contributed to the global financial meltdown, but what they may not realize is that their methods and tactics haven’t changed, regardless of the background music and soothing visual images they insert into their ads.

Peter Santilli issues a “buyer beware” to steer consumer’s clear of beverage containing the harmful ingredient high fructose corn syrup.  Big name brands make you feel warm & fuzzy in their ads, but some of the ingredients contained in these beverages are extremely harmful when consumed.  High fructose corn syrup is one of the leading contributors to obesity.
